Greg was first elected to the Glendale Unified School District Board of Education in 2001. Reelected April 2017 to a five- year term and is serving his 21st year as a Board Member. As a board of education member and a small business owner in Glendale, Greg has been actively involved in numerous school district and community organizations and is a highly respected member of the community. Greg and his wife of 32 years, Christine, are the proud parents of five children, all of whom have graduated from GUSD schools.
In addition to his duties on the Board of Education, Greg is also the President and CEO of Business Life Magazine and Senior Living Magazine, serving the San Fernando Valley region with up to date information on businesses, health care, and services. He has chaired Business Life Women Achiever Symposiums, served on the JWV Little League, Kiwanis Club of Glendale, was President of the Valley Economic Alliance, and is currently Clerk of the Board of Education.
Greg has learned much about Glendale's financial needs, capabilities, difficulties, and areas which require improvement. As City Clerk, he will advocate for easier accessibility, more transparency, and relentlessly promote an exceptional environment in which to raise our children and watch our families grow and prosper.
